Application and Tuition
We encourage you and your child to come spend a morning hour with us as you explore your options. We typically host prospective families between January and March. Contact us to set up an appointment. We would be happy to schedule a visit to meet you and your child.
Our application process runs from January 1 to April 1, with all applications due by April 1. We begin enrolling current families in mid-March. On the 1st of April we will begin enrolling new children. We enroll children for full days (8:30 to 3:00) or mornings (8:30 to 12:00 with pickup after lunch). Scheduling options range from two mornings to five full days. We require attendance on at least 2 days per week and recommend at least 3.
As we develop our class group, we consider your scheduling requests, the availability of space, as well as the age and gender of your child. We do our best to accommodate all of your requests as we strive to create a well-balanced group. Thank you for your interest and understanding.
Our program is designed for and is most successful for children 3-6 years old. Our expectation is that children will be 3 and toilet-trained when they begin Quarry Hill School. Any rare exceptions are made on a case by case basis, depending on available space.
Tuition for the 2010-11 academic year is based on approximately 35 weeks of school. Tuition ranges from $1820/year for 2 mornings per week, to a full-time rate of $7900/year for 5 full days per week. Tuition is contracted after we receive your application and a schedule is confirmed. The yearly tuition is divided into 10 equal payments. The first 10% payment is due by June 15 or at time of registration, and is a non-refundable deposit. The remaining tuition is due monthly beginning in September, or at time of enrollment, through May.
